REBRANDED!!!

Dear Beautiful Soul… The Light in Me recognises the Light in You. Thank you for taking your time, it means a lot and Welcome. I’ve decided to rebrand this Blog (it’s no longer in my names). It was great having a website to my name, however I finally found the name I’ve been tirelessly searching for. The rebranded blog, will focus on the well-being of the Mind, Body and Soul. It will focus on both Physical and Spiritual aspects as these two are major gateways to a wholistic approach of Healing. 

The new name of the Blog is BOITEKANELO (Pronounced BO-I-TE-KA-NE-LO). Boitekanelo has very deep and various meanings across the Sesotho Language and Culture. In seTswana Boitekanelo means wellness, competence, sanity, stability and balance, all the aforementioned, being that which we all seek. Incase you’re wondering why the sudden change, the rebranding is inspired by the self, the identity of the self and the potential of the self. The struggle for an identity in a frame of thought where the identity of the self is nonexistent or not well recognised sparked the whole inspiration.

Some posts will be densely Afrocentric, Black Conscious, Thought provoking, Intersectional and Spiritually awakening where needs be. I think, feel and believe that these are conversations we need to have during our age and time. Not necessarily every time, but have or make time to talk about and acknowledge them thoroughly without fear or favour. All this I’ll be doing because there’s an activist within me that is yearning to see everyone winning and more than anything in good spirits.

Given that I had previously focused mostly on race and politics, I had to delete most of my previous work that was found offensive and beyond the confines of blogging. Back then I was too free spirited and happened to be understood as racially biased/inclined or motivated. In addition to all that, It seemed as if I was promoting hate speech, violence and hate culture. Which is not a good image to have on these streets, specially if you’re trying to change and heal the world. Yes one might say I was on the right track, but some posts kept on disappearing while some never even made it to being published. As if something is wrong with me 🙄.

I hope this rebranded site will reach the hearts and minds targeted. Honesty will be the best policy, and I promise to stay rooted in my truth and only that which I know and nothing else. This is a journey I’m looking towards and I hope it also finds you in good spirits as you join me. Genuinely Wishing you BOITEKANELO in all aspects of your Life, under the Grace and Will of Source/Spirit, your Angels, your Guides and your Ancestors and all that drives you towards your best and higher self.
